The Pimlico Farmers’ Market takes place every Saturday in an area known locally as Orange or Mozart Square, on the well known Pimlico Road. Pimlico Market has been running for 6 years, which attracts some of the country’s best suppliers who bring fresh, organic and homegrown produce direct from the coast and the countryside to the city. A variety of different stalls set up every week hosting delicious fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and baked goods. It’s a lovely way to spend a morning, picking up fresh tasty treats for the weekend, chatting to the owners to find out more about their produce and perhaps grabbing a coffee at a favourite of mine – Daylesford Organic Cafe.
Buying from your local markets is an enjoyable and sustainable way to do your shopping. Local farmers markets help you buy british, supporting the local community and farmers, and reducing your impact on the environment.
